The imPOSSIBLE DREAM, inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to granting dreams to chronically-ill children of Rhode Island. The organization exists to grant the "dream" a child only fantasizes about and which the family could not possibly provide financially. "Dreams" should not be impossible to a child who is already limited by a physical challenge or an emotional barrier. If it is within our power and abilities, we will turn these impossible dreams into possible dreams.
The imPOSSIBLE DREAM, inc. is also the host of an unique playground, the John D. Florio Memorial Park. This park was built in 1990 for both the challenged and able-bodied child. A level playing field was built so the child with a physical limitation or mental disability could play along side an able-bodied friend. There should be no segregation in a child's play time.
